We found JJ by chance and feel so lucky that we did!
We initially chose him because of his quick response time and artistic photography style. He not only was quick to answer and allocate a time slot but was very flexible in changing the timing of the shoot according to the feeding schedule of the baby. We’ve worked with other photographers in the past for different reasons and the flexibility JJ provided was a pleasant surprise.
When he arrived on the day of the shoot, JJ was well prepared, with equipment to set up for the shoot as well as a wide variety of props to accommodate whatever particular requests we had for styling the shoot.
The photoshoot was an amazing experience, to say the least! JJ was very patient and understanding about newborn feeding and was really great at handling our boy. He didn’t even bat an eye when he was pooped on! In fact, as first-time parents, we were also able to learn many parenting and calming tips, and how to hold and calm the baby. (My husband has continued to use these techniques and nights have been so much easier because of it)
He made the photo session fun and tailored the shoot and styling to our requests. He was also really quick in getting the first draft edited photos back to us and the photos were very impressive!
Altogether a great experience, would definitely book him again for family shoots later on or when the next baby comes along. We highly recommend booking a session with JJ!
